Amazon Senior Product Manager - Tech, Alexa Customer Journeys in Seattle, Washington

The Alexa Customer Journeys team is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Tech with the experience and passion to dive deep and drive impact across the tech, design, and engagement challenges of defining and scaling personalized feature discovery for Generative AI use cases. The role requires leaders with technical depth as well as strong hold on industry best practices.

Our team is focused on inspiring customers with delightful, tailored experiences to discover all the best ways Alexa can assist them in their daily life. Our team builds a combination of end customer experiences and horizontal systems that are scaled across hardware and software experiences. We strive to keep things Day 1, and fun. We are located across Seattle (WA), Bellevue (WA), Irvine (CA), and Santa Monica (CA).

Key job responsibilities

This role will be focused on increasing ongoing discovery of features across all Alexa customers, including:

• Define the vision, strategy and requirements for customer scenarios.

• Represent the voice of customer through external and internal research and map to customer needs.

• Work with engineering and applied science to advance state of the art.

• Drive adoption, engagement, and experimentation of your products.

• Collaborate and influence across Amazon to amplify the impact of your product.

• Work cross-functionally with teams to execute product launches.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
