JOB SUMMARY

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the product, aligning it with overall business goals and market trends.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and development teams, ensuring alignment on product priorities and objectives.

  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the planned features and enhancements over time, prioritized based on business value and user needs.

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers, to ensure effective collaboration and execution of the product vision.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and user satisfaction.

  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, informing product strategy and positioning.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the success of the product, proactively addressing issues and adapting plans as needed.

  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of the product, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the product budget and allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of features and initiatives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product team, encouraging experimentation, learning, and adaptation to drive innovation and growth.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Significant experience (6+ years) in product management or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards a common goal.

  • Deep understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with experience in agile development methodologies.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align product initiatives with broader business objectives and drive revenue growth.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Customer-centric mindset, with a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Basic understanding of technology and software development processes, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field is typically required, while a master's degree or MBA may be preferred for senior management positions.

  • Rich experience in managing and working with diverse geographical Global teams.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated success leading medium- to large-scale initiatives/transformations.

  • Experience with and knowledge of digital outsourcing activities in a managed service environment.

  • Proven management experience in product development across waterfall and agile environments.

  • Experience in hospitality or Food & Beverage industrial.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Product Iteration

  • Performs as the owner of an individual digital product, create product backlog and prioritize.

  • Lead product new features and BAU enhancement from requirement definition to live.

  • Ensure all project follows appropriate security, legal, and compliance requirements.

  • Recommend digital solution based on technical solution options impact evaluation.

  • Ensures proper coordination with internal and vendor relations teams.

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Create a clear short to middle term product roadmap as the guiding principle for backlog prioritization.

  • Facilitate long term product vison creation.

  • Conduct regular market research.

  • Demonstrate product business impact and participate workshop presentation.

Product Deployment Support

  • Facilitate each deployment team on new feature roll-out.

  • Facilitate required change management process definition.

  • Conduct necessary training and document training materials.

  • Actively gather feedback and abstract into future requirements.

Service Provider Management

  • Validates that Service Providers develop and manage respective aspects of a project plan, including schedules, deliverables, and appropriate metrics.

  • Makes short term plans for the team to effectively utilize resources.

  • Monitors Service Provider outcomes

  • Reviews estimates of work effort for client project provided by Service Providers for accuracy.

  • Facilitates timely resolution of service delivery problems and minimizes the impact.
