Vaccination paperwork will be requested during the completion of onboarding tasks prior the role's start date. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Able to follow directions and respect authority Able to work with little supervision Experience with "team-building" activities helpful Certification for use of ropes course helpful SOFTWARE-RELATED SKILLS: General computer knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite a plus Copier and other related office equipment use helpful Lotus Notes, helpful ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be over 18 Assisting the cook in preparing and serving meals Assisting the cook in cleanup of the kitchen and dining hall areas Cleaning and preparing cabins and building for retreat groups when necessary Assisting all staff in facilitating a trouble free weekend for the retreat group Checking, cleaning and stocking bathrooms Set-up buildings as necessary; responding to the needs of the group whenever possible Operate the camp store "canteen" when necessary Assist with facilitation of ropes course upon receipt of the appropriate training as directed Assist with facilitation of group "team-building" and trust activities as needed Seasonally assist camp staff with the registration of camper and office support as needed Assist with Camp Marketing and Promotional events Seasonally be available for camp projects that may require additional manpower Assist in Camp Maintenance and Grounds keeping PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis Grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead Operate telephone Operate a desktop or laptop computer Lift up to 25 lbs.
