SUMMARY The driving force behind constant business growth is the presence of skilled and dedicated project managers. Project Managers are responsible for coordinating and facilitating work that meets the business goals and objectives as outlined in the Project Charter. They are responsible for delivering clear, concise communication regarding team roles and responsibilities. They must understand the desired business outcomes and be able to articulate how the project deliverables will meet those requirements. Must have strong work plan development capabilities and progress oversight skills. The discipline requires weekly project status reports, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by the team, and ensuring the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope. However, most importantly the project must meet or exceed the project stakeholder's documented expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned. Project Management Governance Adhere to the methodologies and best practices as presented by the Project Management Office (PMO) through all process groups of initiation, planning, execution, and closure. Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing. Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort and duration required for each task. Develops and maintain projects plans and schedules. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback. Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms. Assess project risks and issues and identify solutions to meet business objectives and ensure quality deliverables. Manage and document project budget; Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, etc. in coordination with document project success criteria. Provide consistent stakeholders updates using the standard Project Update Template. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in project tracking tool.
