Alta is looking for a Directory (LDAP) Integration Engineer for a direct hire opening with our client.
Experience Requirements:
A deep understanding and working knowledge of LDAP, global infrastructures, and data replication and synchronization
Hands on experience with Symantec/CA Directory required
Experience and understanding of hosting LDAP directory on premise and in Cloud environments
Experience with directory services and directory migrations between datacenters
Familiarity with the LDAP protocol and LDAP management tools (Replication, Synchronization, data search, bulk import/export, Schema updates)
Familiarity with the LDAP secure communication using SSL/TLS (Setup and Maintenance tasks)
Familiarity with Symantec SiteMinder, AccessGateway and IDM products is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving and technical trouble-shooting skills
Operating system and network communication troubleshooting
Log interpretation for proactive and reactive needs of the solution
Knowledge of scripting in Unix environment as may be required for solution support
Knowledge of vulnerability and hardening concepts/application
Experience in high pressure, fast paced environment. Balancing and prioritization of Tasks
Familiarity with defining work tasks aligning to Kanban or Agile frameworks
Consultant Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain LDAP servers and supporting infrastructure
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot LDAP-related issues
Document all administrative procedures and configurations
Architect directory services as the needs and evolution of the business requires
Act as the LDAP Subject Matter Expert for the Identity and Access management team
Interact with multiple levels of the organization
Communicate within and outside of the project team to resolve issues as they relate to LDAP directories in support of the Identity and Access Management solutions
Participate in technical meetings and conversations to ensure the right path is followed to project completion.
