What you'll do...

The AdTech & Data Ventures Advertising Business Systems (ABS) team plays a pivotal role in facilitating various aspects of our advertising ecosystem. Responsible for Onboarding, Billing, Sales Workflow, Media Planning, Creative Operation automation, and Data Commercialization for Advertisers and Suppliers, our team is dedicated to supporting both onsite/offsite display ads and sponsored products.

Our primary objective is to develop and maintain software applications that streamline processes, enabling our business partners and advertisers to efficiently navigate the onboarding to billing journey, thus driving increased adoption and satisfaction among advertisers.

About the team:

The ABS team comprises skilled software engineers proficient in several key areas. Firstly, we excel in building and managing scalable software applications tailored to meet the demands of Onboarding, Billing, Sales Workflow, Media Planning, and Creative Operation automation. Secondly, we specialize in automating processes and seamlessly integrating systems to enhance operational efficiency. Lastly, our team is committed to achieving established business KPIs, aligning our efforts with automation and process efficiency goals to drive tangible results.

In line with our ongoing commitment to excellence, the ABS team is currently seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer, Full-Stack. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Apex, an object-oriented programming language, along with proficiency in the Lightning Component framework and Salesforce Lightning UI Design.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the construction and deployment of cutting-edge, in-house software applications alongside a team of top-tier engineers, designed to operate seamlessly at Walmart's massive scale.

  • Cultivate a culture ingrained with growth mindset, technical entrepreneurship, design thinking, engineering prowess, data-centricity, and innovation.

  • Exemplify behavioral standards, emphasizing data-driven decision-making, scientific rigor in problem-solving, prioritizing customer needs, and upholding the highest benchmarks for operational and engineering excellence.

  • Collaborate with your teams and technical leaders to ensure our coding and development methodologies remain agile and adaptive, in line with modern development, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.

  • Co-design engineering roadmaps to facilitate the transition of our platforms towards highly configurable and manageable microservices architecture, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

  • Take charge of driving operational and engineering excellence metrics to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Engage proactively with Product Management and Business stakeholders to steer strategic agendas, establish priorities, and deliver exceptional platforms and products.

  • Maintain oversight of hiring targets, operational efficiency, budget allocation, and operational cadence.

  • Foster regular collaboration with Walmart engineering teams across global locations to harness collective expertise and contribute to the dynamic tech community.

What you'll bring:

  • Over 4 years of Salesforce experience in software development, ideally focusing on CRM enterprise systems spanning multiple Salesforce clouds including Sales, Service, and Marketing.

  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, self-discipline, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes, alongside a strong team orientation and a penchant for design thinking, efficiency, and innovation.

  • Mentorship and guidance abilities to foster the professional and technical growth of team members, aligning project assignments with individual skill sets, preferences, and career aspirations.

  • Actively participate in code reviews, facilitate design discussions, and refine engineering practices to optimize productivity and quality.

  • Proficiency in developing applications using Apex and Salesforce Lightning Framework, with hands-on experience in CRM Data Models, Community SSO, Salesforce CPQ, Customer Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

  • Proven track record of delivering impactful products across diverse subject domains.

  • Exposure to Rest and GraphQL-based integrations between Salesforce and other non-CRM Applications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across stakeholders.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
