We, the M365 Asia Pacific Office AI engineering team is looking for an entrepreneurial Principal Product Manager Lead to help innovate and deliver at an accelerated pace new Conversational Copilot Experiences in the suite of Copilot products. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, designers, ML scientists and researchers to build these experiences and shape underlying AI skills in support of these experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Product Management team to fully align with global product strategy, priority, process, and product management excellence against the one-team model between China and head quarter through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products

• Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers

• Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution

• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products

• Understand Microsoft’s strategic and competitive position as part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot initiative and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry

• Maximize for speed, effectiveness + efficiency, & learning in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

• Proactively identify and initiate opportunities for new areas

• Be responsible for direct reports’ priority, commitment planning, performance assessment, feedback given through semi-annual connect, annual rewards to ensure their business impact and career development, growth

• Establish strong collaboration partnership and trust with local and global engineering stakeholders.

• Demonstrate the leadership influence to the broader organization(s) on engineering customer obsession, strategic can-do growth mindset, one-team culture, technology excellence, delivering the goods to meet the OKR(s)

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research

• 6+ years people management experience with passion, aspiration for being people oriented to influence, coach, care, develop people

• Experience presenting to senior executives & driving projects in a cross-region, cross-team, multitasking dynamic environment

• Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem, or marketplaces

• Outstanding verbal and written communication and collaboration skills in both English and Chinese

• Ability to deal with ambiguity, problem solving, self-driving, and closing the loop.

• Product technical breadth and/or domain expertise in cloud, data, mid-end stack and 2+ years in AI focused applications

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in startups or a consumer-focused technology company

• MS Azure cloud, M365, and/or OSS product experience
