Hidden Level is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in Python, AWS, Flask, Flutter, and SQL databases, and who has a proven track record of leading teams and deploying software products, and who is interested is interested in drone detection and distributed sensor networks. The ideal candidate will have experience working with radar data and 5+ years of professional experience in software development. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Hidden Level, you can expect to...

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications across our full stack, leveraging AWS services, Python, Flask, Flutter, and SQL databases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement features.

• Improve on and expand the capabilities of our existing sensor networks, ensuring secure seamless communication and data synchronization.

• Document and clearly communicate designs to peers.

• Test and validate designs to ensure proper and bug free operation.

• Lead and collaborate design and code reviews.

• Lead and help manage a team of full-stack software developers.

A successful candidate may have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with strong programming background.

• 5+ years of related professional experience.

• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Cloudwatch, and Lambdas.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience or willingness to learn C++.

• Proficient in using, developing and trouble-shooting Linux-based servers.

• Experience with Flask and Flutter frameworks.

• Solid understanding of SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL) and database design principles.

• Familiarity with protocols like ZeroMQ, SSH, HTTP, and TLS, and ideally, experience with or a desire to learn about distributed sensor networks.

• Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome technical challenges.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a timely manner.

The location of this position can be remote, hybrid and/or onsite in the Syracuse, NY office.

Salary at Hidden Level Inc. is market competitive and determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $106,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Hidden Level Inc.'s total compensation package for employees.
