The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region. You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS solutions. Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service.

Field Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service(s). As a Field Specialist, you will be the direct business owner for geo-segments, or areas, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You will develop and influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services, and drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities. You will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.

About the team

The Field Specialists team builds and executes strategic go-to-market plans to drive revenue and market share for AWS GenAI and AI/ML services. Our team helps AWS customers adopt GenAI and AI/ML providing guidance throughout the customer adoption journey. As a Specialist on GenAI you will build and drive a robust sales pipeline, work with partners and key internal stakeholders to scale impact, incubate new AWS GenAI/AI/ML services and scale existing AWS services, represent AWS on AI at public events or blogs. This position will help AWS customers in Israel adopt Amazon AI/GenAI services and Amazon Sagemaker.

AWS works backwards from customers to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. AWS teams include business development, specialist sales, and technical solutions architecture. As part of AWS, you’ll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Basic Qualifications

• Experience with technical business development, sales, strategic partnerships, and program/product management

• Industry experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related technologies

• Experience influencing and negotiating with customers, up to the c-suite or VP level

• Experience in describing and selling technical cloud services or software technology products

Preferred Qualifications

• College/university degree

• Experience with Generative AI and Foundation Models (LLMs)

• In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and solutions architecture

• Ability to work autonomously with medium oversight or direction from leadership

• Excellent business judgement and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
