Insight Global Digital Product Manager in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Digital Product Manager to join a Big 5 banking client for a 6-month contract. As a Digital Product Manager, you will primarily focus on the Progress Tracker SSO project. This initiative aims to seamlessly integrate the existing BMO retail website/app with Conquest, a third-party vendor's site offering an innovative tool for financial progress tracking. Customers will have the luxury of building personalized financial plans utilizing their BMO details.

Your responsibilities include:

  * Facilitating the delivery of the SSO in collaboration with the scrum team.

  * Collaborating a 3rd party vendor, to connect their financial planner tool into the Canadian Digital Banking application (CBD).

  * Empowering customers to set future goals (e.g., retirement in 2050) and receive actionable insights on achieving them.

  * Ensuring secure data transfer between retail CDB and 3rd party application through a one-time consent process.

  * Coordinating with developers, QA, and the Scrum team.

  * Balancing customer experience with complex technical components (authentication, secure connections).

  * Building the SSO from scratch.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership/management: Demonstrated ability to lead and drive product initiatives.

      * Self-starter: Proactive and able to take ownership of projects.

      * Digital and financial products: Familiarity with designing for digital platforms and financial services.

      * Excellent technical understanding/experience: Ability to bridge business requirements with technical feasibility.

      * Stakeholder communication and management skills: Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and QAs.

      * Agile proficiency: Experience working in Agile environments.

      * Story drafting: Crafting clear and concise user stories.

      * KPIs: Understanding and tracking key performance indicators.

      * Edge cases: Identifying and addressing exceptional scenarios.

Poking holes in solution architecture, feasibility: Critical thinking to assess technical solutions. * Experience with SSO (single sign-on): A significant advantage.

  * Consulting background: Particularly valuable for financial services projects.

Former technical background: Provides a deeper understanding of technical aspects. null
