Position Description

Working closely with the Director of Sales, the National Account Manager will manage sales activities for Home Depot supporting the Power Tools business. This role requires an individual capable of building strong and productive relationships with the Home Depot Merchants, the TTI field sales team and our US parent division based in South Carolina.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement long term strategy to grow sales and market share. Must regularly meet with all stakeholders to identify long term and short-term needs and develop a plan to deliver key metrics. Must stay abreast of industry trends to understand account needs and positioning.

  • Supporting special projects teams, plan, build, execute quarterly POG updates to support new product launches, new initiatives, removal of under performing skus, execution of new strategies, etc..

  • Weekly, monthly collaboration meetings with key Home Depot stake holders ensuring accurate presentation mins, achieving target in stock

  • Development new POG’s or merchandising executions to develop new sales experiences

  • Interaction, planning and communication with US counter parts.

  • Build a plan to achieve annual revenue and margin goals.

  • Building presentations and leading product line reviews.

  • POS analysis & category performance overview.

  • Other duties as required.

What You Will Bring

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5+ year’s successful sales/marketing experience, and / or / dealing in the industrial channel to strategic or national account distributors and or users.

  • Demonstrated history of growing profitable sales.

  • Development of account business plans to include: product offerings, forecasts, advertising/co-op, profitability, expenses and any specific distribution needs.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills, including forecasting and planning skills.

  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal and excellent presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.

  • Takes positive approach and has sense of urgency.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal resources.

  • Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record and passport.

  • PC literate in Microsoft Office products
