Join our dynamic Research and Development Department as a Software Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing SCADA control system software, contributing to the success of groundbreaking Siemens solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the software development for cutting-edge Siemens solutions.

• Design, implement, and enhance software using the WinCC OA platform.

• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities throughout the software development cycle, from bid and specification to design, development, testing, and delivery.

• Conduct software verification activities and contribute to test specification.

• Manage requirements and ensure traceability across the product life cycle.

• Work collaboratively in an international and multidisciplinary development team.

• Drive innovation and research into new technologies applicable to our products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in development projects.

• Desirable experience in developing applications for Railway Signaling Control Centres.

• Desirable experience with the WinCC OA platform.

Knowledge:

• Proficiency in programming languages, with a focus on WinCC OA and/or C++.

• Extensive understanding of software architecture.

• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

• Knowledge of automatic testing and continuous integration tools (Gitlab CICD).

• Experience with requirements and traceability management tools (Doors, Confluence).

• Familiarity with assembly and maintenance of virtual environments.

• Knowledge of SIL2 development techniques (CENELEC 50128:2011).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with AGILE software development methodology (SCRUM) and related tools (Jira, Gitlab, Confluence).

• Experience in graphic systems software development.

• Understanding of IT Security, including vulnerability testing, threat mitigation, authentication, access control, and cryptography.

• Proficient in programming using code standards and following good development practices.
