Job Summary:

The Continuous Improvement & Factory Performance and Reliability (FP&R) Leader is responsible for driving and supporting the FP&R program on-site. This role will work with key stakeholders across functions, utilising lean manufacturing methodologies to analyse data and provide recommendations for improvements that will minimise waste and improve efficiencies across the Villawood Manufacturing site. The Continuous Improvement & FP&R Leader supports Daily Management System (DMS) cadence to drive meeting effectiveness and standards across the site . This position plays a crucial role in coaching, training, and mentoring team members, to build continuous improvement awareness and capabilities on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating and driving root cause analysis (RCA) activities across the site; providing reports and delivering one point lessons.

  • Managing and supporting cross functional teams with waste reduction projects across the site.

  • Champion the FP&R program at the Villawood site, partnering closely with the Senior Manufacturing Manager to embed FP&R standards across the site.

  • Partnering with Site Leadership Team members to prioritise and select projects and improvements based on feasibility and benefit.

  • Drive and implement lean manufacturing methodologies across the site, including 5S, Visual Management, Gemba walks, SMED, and Value Stream Mapping.

  • Actively lead Kaizen events and lean activities to deliver project objectives.

  • Work closely with the Operations team and support with plant efficiency initiatives and projects.

  • Coordinating and supporting the sustainability program and reduction of energy projects.

  • Facilitating Daily Management System to drive meeting effectiveness across the site.

  • Training and coaching team members on lean manufacturing initiatives and methodologies.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required in manufacturing or engineering environment.

  • Continuous improvement / lean manufacturing qualification.

Preferred Requirement:

  • FMCG manufacturing experience

  • Google suite experience
