Working with cross-functional and regional teams, you implement a portfolio strategy that is aligned with the brand vision to drive sustainable growth. You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives including new product development and platform opportunities.

How you will contribute

Working with other internal stakeholders, you will support the brand portfolio strategy and priorities to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth. You will develop annual plans, setting objectives and allocating resources. In addition, you will offer recommendations for integrated commercial plans, develop and execute marketing plans that deliver on revenue and profit forecasts, and share objectives. Based on your deep consumer insights and brand positioning, you will develop and implement integrated marketing communications and 360 degree campaigns.

More about this role

This role is part of regional Equity & Innovation marketing organization within Mondelez International MENAP (Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan) region. It is primarily focused on 4 strategic markets - KSA, Gulf, Egypt & Pakistan for Chocolate categories (Global Brands: Cadbury Dairy Milk), reporting to Chocolates E&I regional lead.

What you need to know about this position:

  • Lead, develop and drive a regional multi-year equity & innovation agenda that aligns with brand growth strategy and strategic plan for the key brands responsible for.

  • Work cross-functionally with peer internal workgroups and in partnership with creative & media agencies to deliver brand campaigns and innovation strategy that drive sustainable growth & brand equity.

  • In partnership with local marketing teams, you will define and deliver plans on core brand equity communication and to strengthen brand portfolio through innovation and renovation.

  • Manage the process of identifying innovation opportunities from pre-launch of business proposition to bringing successful innovation into market, in addition to helping develop brand strategy & working on communication campaigns.

  • Partner with and influence Creative and Media agencies to drive Breakthrough communication strategy.

  • Manage Global and Regional stakeholders to Drive Brand’s strategy and agenda

  • Partner with local Marketing Teams to Set the Brand’s short and long term Strategy by Market and for total MENAP

  • Act as key point of contact for leading alignment of cross-regional and cross-market priorities, and resource allocation for innovation and big bet development.

  • Partner with Markets on brand equity & portfolio initiatives to further co-customize core brands across the region to increase brand presence and profitable growth.

  • Facilitate cross-functional teams (Consumer Insights, PCM, Finance, R&D, cross functional leaders, and external agencies) through the execution process of all key initiatives.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in business marketing, Brand management or Equity and Innovation is a plus

  • Analytical and creative skills - a balance of commercial and strategic acumen.

  • Effective communication (verbal and writing), and strong presentation skills.

  • Strong leadership to influence direct teams and core stakeholders.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across internal & external stakeholders and multi-functions.

  • Regional experience (preferred)
