Google Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions in Hong Kong

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 5 years of experience in sales, marketing or business analytics at an agency, technology, or media company.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently to interact with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising, and/or media campaigns.

  • Media experience across a variety of platforms (e.g., TV, Radio, Print, Sponsorship, etc.).

  • Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously while paying attention to detail.

  • Ability to grow in an ambiguous environment with excellent problem solving and creative thinking skills.

The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for clients in Google Customer Solutions (GCS) designed to grow medium and large sized fast growing businesses in Hong Kong. Through long-term relationship development, we’re dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success.

In this role, you will provide excellent client service, research, and market analysis. You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's clients, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business.

  • Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievements.

  • Establish a partnership with C-levels or key decision makers and act as a trusted consultant with understanding in marketing strategy, industry insights, and optimizing and expanding advertising investment.

  • Serve as a role model to and coach junior team members to drive the client growth as well as overall team success.

  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.

  • Own business process by driving customer outreach, business pitches, solution implementation, and performance evaluation. Work towards quarterly business and product growth goals.
