Job Summary As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will be an integral member of the team working to acquire, convert, and retain SoftwareOne customers and prospects. The ideal candidate will have strong, end-to-end technical expertise and sales and marketing domain knowledge. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and drive data-driven actions. You will be expected to contribute to the hands-on building of predictive models (regression, clustering, time series, etc.) to provide detailed insights into the Marketing and Sales functions. Sr. Data Scientist, North America Sales Analytics is a member of the Revenue Intelligence team and reports to the Director, Revenue Intelligence. Roles and Responsibilities What you’ll do (including, but not limited to): Use machine learning, deep learning, and data mining techniques to develop robust predictive models and strategies to drive incremental business results. Design, build, and deploy predictive models, such as customer lifetime value, next-best action, propensity, or time series, to forecast future trends, behavior, or outcomes based on historical data sourced internally and/or externally. Develop and apply marketing measurement capabilities such as A/B testing, marketing mix modeling (MMM), and multi-touch attribution (MTA) to evaluate the performance of our GTM efforts. Evaluate model performance and refine algorithms to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability. Pull data from the data warehouse, perform feature engineering and back-test models, compare model performances, and communicate the results to stakeholders. Design, analyze, and run simulated and live experiments to drive KPI improvements. Collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify impactful business questions, conduct deep-dive analysis, and provide recommendations through effective communication and storytelling with data.
